Ballina-Byron Gateway Airport is situated 5kms north of the coastal town of Ballina. Undertaken over 2 stages, Stage 1 expansion and refurbishment included a new arrivals hall and check-in desk. Stage 2 featured a new departures hall, retail concessions, public amentities, airside baggage areas, check bag screening, car drop off areas and covered walkways.
