Kate exemplifies the culture of positive communication here at SHAC. Following the completion of a Diploma of Interior Design, Kate made the jump from administration to our Interior Design team. Having taken a year away from the office to enjoy time with her baby boy, Kate now works across all design sectors at SHAC including residential, multi-residential, education, health, commercial and hospitality.
Drawing on her years of client service experience, Kate enjoys building a rapport with clients, which better helps her to understand and achieve their design brief. Inspired by celebrated Interior Designer Simone Haag, Kate embraces Simone’s philosophy to “design an immersive narrative, one in which you will want to live, celebrate and relax”.
When away from the office (and not wrangling a toddler), Kate can usually be found with her nose in a good book or grabbing a slice at one of Newcastle’s many fantastic Italian eateries.
